YouTube již patří firmě Google
VIDEO: pozdrav od Chada a Steva:Zdá se tak, že Google příliš nevěří svému projetu Google video, který nedávno spustil, možná jako odezvu na úspěch právě YouTube. Google také není jediný, kdo se YouTube zajímá. Doposud však majitelé firmy všechny nabídky odmítali s tím, že YouTube není na prodej.
Aktualizováno 10.10.2006: Podle zprávy agentury ČTK, která se odvolává na tiskovou zprávu Google, se transakce uskuteční v brzké době za cenu 1,65 miliardy dolarů (cca 36,5 mld. Kč).
YouTube vznikl teprve loni v únoru, kdy ho v garáži založili tři mladíci, kteří do té doby pracovali ve společnosti PayPal. To je platební systém aukční síně eBay. YouTube vděčí za svůj úspěch rozmachu internetu a on-line reklamě. Uživatelé webu YouTube nyní každý den zhlédnou přes 100 milionů videosnímků a podnik samotný má podle výzkumných firem větší podíl na trhu než obdobné služby společnosti Google.
YouTube sice oznámil, že podepsal několik smluv o distribuci obrazového materiálu, analytici přesto podotýkají, že Google si tímto nákupem na sebe ušije bič. Pokud se prý YouTube ocitne pod křídly lídra v oboru, tedy firmy Google, je možné, že se na něj navalí vlna žalob. Investoři si ale prozatím žádné problémy nepřipouštějí, což je znát v růstu ceny akcií Google.
